THROTTLE VALVE 24V （DV5E - DV5E 010 VALVE） 245745007

This is the 24V throttle valve, model DV5E to DV5E 010, part number 245745007. We use it on industrial engines and compressor packages where we need precise air or gas flow control. The body is machined aluminum with a brass throttle plate inside.

You’ll see the 24V DC solenoid mounted on the side. Two-wire connection, polarity sensitive – red to positive, black to ground. No position feedback, so this one works as a simple open/close or duty-cycle control valve, not a modulating type.

The valve has 1/2” NPT ports. Max pressure rating 150 PSI, temperature range -20 to 85°C. Seals are Viton, so it handles diesel exhaust, natural gas, or dry air just fine. Not for fuel or water.

When you apply 24V, the solenoid pulls the plunger and the throttle disc rotates 90 degrees. Remove voltage and a stainless spring returns it to the closed position. You’ll hear a solid click – that’s normal.

We stock this as direct replacement for DV5E 010 only. Double-check your old valve’s coil resistance: should be around 85 ohms at 20°C. If you see higher or lower, don’t install it. No serviceable parts inside, so swap the whole valve.
